WHAT IS GARUD?

GARUD is a student-founded motorsports team at Invertis University (2024) that focuses on designing high-performance EV and IC go-karts. We blend academics with hands-on racing. Our team unites students with the talent to build competitive machines and develop industry-ready skills through innovation and teamwork.

VISION AND OBJECTIVES

1. To promote practical engineering knowledge through participation in Formula Student / Formula Bharat and similar competitions.
2. To provide students with hands-on exposure in vehicle design, manufacturing, testing, and project management.
3. To develop teamwork, leadership, innovation, and professional ethics among members.
4. To represent Invertis University at national and international technical competitions.

ACHIEVEMENT

National Recognition: Secured 5th position in the EV category at FKDC 2025, competing against top teams from across India.

Technical Versatility: Successfully designed and built both electric and combustion-powered go-karts, showcasing multi-powertrain expertise.

Growth & Support: Progressing towards a full-sized Formula-style race car with strong backing from Invertis University's Incubation Centre under Mr. Parth Gautham.

ENGINEERING & INNOVATION

Team Garud follows a structured, research-driven engineering approach focused on practical learning and continuous improvement.

The team works across both electric and combustion platforms, emphasizing design optimization, safety, and performance through simulation, prototyping, and testing.

Operating from Invertis University's Incubation Centre, Garud integrates academic research with hands-on development to build competitive, future-ready race vehicles.
